Bar 83 is somewhere that you need to get a reservation in advance for, and for good reason! This bar is situated at the top of Sydney tower and is 83 floors (245 meters/804 feet) above ground level. It is the highest bar in Sydney, and, as such, boasts an incredible view of the city and of the harbor. The bar has a smart casual dress code so be aware of that as well! They have an extensive alcohol menu, but don't worry, they have non-alcoholic options as well such as mocktails and regular sodas, coffee and tea. They have some food there as well, kind of like upscale bar food. I, of course, had to try their oysters (I was getting oysters every chance I could in Australia, they were great) and you could also add some caviar to them if you were feeling REALLY fancy. I got the tasting oysters which were $70 AUD or about $45 USD and came with two each of gala apple oysters with apple cider vinegar, micro radish and dill, the passion fruit oyster which came with coriander oil and baby coriander, and then the black river oyster with imperial caviar Uruguay. My favorite was actually the gala apple! Never would have thought to put apple on an oyster but it was balanced with the saltiness of the oyster and then with the vinegar and dill, it was a delight! I also got their pork belly tacos which were very good! Some cocktails were had of course as well but the service was great, view fantastic, and loved the inside decor that had a retro type of feel.

To get a reservation, you can go on google and look them up or just click the link here: bar83sydneytower.com.au.
